Stephens-Son Electric is a veteran-owned residential electrical contractor serving Prescott and the surrounding areas (Licensed, Bonded & Insured, AZ ROC# 368110). This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you visit stephens-sonelectric.com or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Stephens-Son Electric.

1. Information You Give Us

We only collect personal information that you choose to share with us, for example when you:

Use our contact form. The form asks for your full name, phone number, email address, and a description of the service you need. You can also upload a photo of the problem or the work you’d like done.
Book an appointment. Our Booking page uses Calendly, a third-party scheduling service. When you book, Calendly collects the details its booking form asks for (such as your name, email address, and any notes you add) and shares them with us so we can confirm your appointment.
Call, text, or email us. If you call or text 928.374.9692 or email service@stephens-sonelectric.com, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you include in your message.

When we come to your home to do work, we will also have your service address and the details of the job.

Please don’t send payment card numbers or other sensitive financial information through the contact form, by text, or by email.

2. Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, ours uses a few standard tools that collect limited technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and how you reached our site.

Google Analytics (Google Site Kit). We use Google’s website tag, set up through the Google Site Kit plugin, to understand how visitors use our site (for example, which pages are viewed most) so we can improve it. Google may use cookies to collect this information.
Spam protection (CleanTalk). Our forms use CleanTalk to block spam and bots. To do this, CleanTalk checks form submissions and related technical details, such as your IP address, email address, and browser information.
Hosting and site tools. Our website host (GoDaddy) runs a script that measures how quickly pages load. We also display a TrustedSite security badge and a “call now” button, which load small pieces of code from those providers.
Embedded content from other companies. Some pages include content hosted by other companies, such as the Calendly scheduler on our Booking page, a Google Map on our Contact page, and fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser loads that content, those companies may receive your IP address and browser information, and may set their own cookies, under their own privacy policies.

3. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Our site itself does not use cookies to identify you, but the third-party tools described above (such as Google Analytics and Calendly) may set cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site, such as online booking, may not work properly if you do. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser opt-out add-on.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments
Review your photos and project details so we can prepare for the visit or give you a quote

When required by law, or when needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, our business, or others

6. How Long We Keep Information

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above, including keeping job records for our workmanship warranty and for normal business, tax, and legal recordkeeping.

7. Keeping Your Information Safe

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us. No website, email, or online service is completely secure, though, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Just call, text, or email us using the contact information below. We may need to keep certain records (such as invoices and warranty records) when we’re required to or have a legitimate business need.

9. Other Websites

Our site links to other websites and services, such as Calendly, Google, Facebook, and Instagram. We’re not responsible for how those sites handle your information, so please review their privacy policies.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
